Departure - Not even in our route

Day minus one - making sure that everything is ready to go. Ana says that departure will be at 8.30am in day one. Not a problem, just need to do some grocery, stuff everything into our car, and clear and clean my house - let's not forget I'm moving out of Rochester by the end of July. We run a bit late on the cleaning so it's 6am when we go to bed. Suddenly departure shifts to 12pm...

The first day was mostly highway driving. We have a long drive so the objective is to get to Chicago, the starting point of the historical route 66, as soon as possible. The only stop made was in Cleveland where we took the chance to visit a local public market and appreciate the sights from the Erie.
